Want to Join Our Winning Team?

At Diamond Painting & Renovations, we are committed to delivering exceptional quality and maintaining the highest safety standards. This requires a mindset that goes beyond what is often considered the norm in the painting and renovation industry. It demands dedication, accountability, and pride in craftsmanship from every member of our team.

Everyone at Diamond Painting & Renovations shares a common philosophy: to consistently deliver products and services that exceed our customers’ expectations. This commitment means conducting yourself with professionalism, skill, and courtesy at all times. It also means strictly adhering to Diamond Painting & Renovations’ Code of Conduct and Safety Protocols, respecting our clients’ homes, and taking the utmost care in every aspect of our work.

We don’t smoke on the job.
We aren’t late.
And we do what we say we’re going to do.

Most importantly, we hold ourselves to a higher standard. Rather than asking, “Is this good enough?” we ask, “Is this the best it can be done?”

If this mindset resonates with you and you’re interested in joining a growing, reputable company known for excellence, we would welcome the opportunity to meet you. We are currently seeking qualified, professional painters for both interior and exterior work.

  • If you do not fully understand a task or how to use any equipment, ask for clarification before proceeding.

  • All posted safety rules and job site conduct requirements must be followed at all times.

  • A site and safety orientation is required before working on any construction site.

  • You must read, understand, sign, and comply with Diamond Painting & Renovations’ Safety Protocols, and carry a written copy with you daily.

  • CSA-approved hard hats and footwear are mandatory on construction sites.

  • If you see, smell, or hear anything unsafe, report it immediately to your Crew Leader.

  • Always practice proper ladder safety.

  • All incidents or injuries must be reported immediately to your Crew Leader.

Respect the Customer and Their Property

  • The Five-Minute Rule applies at all times: if you will be late, notify the customer, supervisor, or Crew Leader at least five minutes before the scheduled start time.

  • Personal cell phone use is limited to emergencies only while on the job.

  • Diamond Painting & Renovations is a non-smoking company. Smoking is strictly prohibited:

    • Inside or outside any residence

    • On yards, parking lots, or commercial properties

    • During work hours
Smoking during lunch breaks must be done out of sight, without company apparel, and any odor of smoke is unacceptable.

  • No food or beverages (other than water) are permitted inside homes or buildings, including garages and basements.

  • Break and lunch areas will be designated by the Crew Leader.

  • Your supervisor will advise which restroom facilities may be used.

  • Drop cloths and protective coverings must be used at all times.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and dust-controlled work area throughout the day.

  • All materials, tools, and supplies must be cleaned up and secured at the end of each day — no exceptions.

  • Any trade-related damage must be reported immediately to the Crew Leader.

  • No music, radios, earbuds, or headphones are permitted.

  • Work quietly and respectfully at all times. When on a customer’s property, you are a guest.

Take Pride in Your Work and Profession

  • Be reliable, demonstrate strong work ethic, maintain integrity, and remain drug-free.

  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment at all times.

  • Diamond Painting & Renovations–issued apparel and clean painter pants must be worn. Personal appearance must meet company standards.

  • Arrive on time each day, prepared for weather conditions, and ready to work.

  • Conduct yourself professionally and courteously at all times. Swearing, yelling, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

  • A mandatory 30-minute unpaid lunch break is required. Employees must bring their own lunch, water, sunscreen for hot days, and appropriate outerwear when working outdoors.

  • Bring your basic tools daily. If additional tools are required, request them from your Crew Leader.

  • Return all borrowed tools promptly. Do not borrow tools from other trades or homeowners.

  • Handle company tools and equipment with care. Clean all equipment after use and return it in the same condition as received.

  • Stay productive throughout the workday. If additional tasks are needed, notify your Crew Leader or supervisor.

  • Quality control starts with you. Review your work before completion, identify deficiencies, and correct them immediately.
